@chopsuey119: seriously get out of my brain! Just picked one up on Sunday! It's sitting on our island waiting for me to chop it up!

Yum! I don't get it much because I'm the only one who eats pineapples in the house. I'm excited for watermelons and cherries.

@chopsuey119: Mmmmmm they are soooo good ripe. We get huge ones at BJ's right now for $1.99 each!

I luff pineapple! It's great (natural pineapple) for bruising, which I happen to know because I totally fail at navigating our platform bed.

I love pineapples!! Except they make my teeth hurt afterwards. They have some sort of enzyme that helps break down food or something which is why it can be used as a meat tenderizer.

Pineapples are so good. I can easily eat a whole one by myself. I normally rinse it with water and salt to get rid of whatever enzyme it causes to make your tongue itchy while eating it. I hate cutting it up though. I always butcher it while trying to remove the eyes. D'oh!

@Alivoo01: Whoa, does that work? I always avoid pineapple because my tongue freaks out and swells. You mean I could RINSE IT and avoid all that?

@redsmarties: it does for me, but I'm not allergice to it. Are you allergic to pineapple? You can slice up a couple pieces and try it out for yourself. Let me know how it goes for you!

I love pineapple. I made some puree pineapple for LO and she isn't a big fan so I've been snacking on frozen pineapple cubes.

Sounds weird, but grilled pineapple with sweetened and whipped cream cheese and a Nutella drizzle is really good.

@Alivoo01: I don't think I'm allergic. But, then again, kiwi does the same thing to me. I'll give it a shot and see what happens, haha.

Mmm.. pineapples! I turn them upside down for a few hours before I slice them up. It's supposed to help redistribute the sugar. Once it's sliced up, it doesn't last too long in my house.

@elgato: I grill mine with cinnamon, brown sugar, white sugar, and honey. I'm salivating just thinking about it!!
@redsmarties: Hope it works out for you!

OMG - I'm on a huge fruit kick lately. And I LOVE pineapple. I also ate a quarter of a seedless watermelon the other day. Then I sat on the couch for 2 hours because I was so full.
I'm also enjoying the strawberries!

@yin: My mom always did this when I was growing up (but she's prop it upside down as soon as we got home from the market). I do the same thing now, too, and hubs doesn't get it. LOL.
