Any ideas on what to use to get it out?? 
I googled and it suggested goo b gone and I plan to get some.... hot hot water and resolve did not work at all.
Anybody ever dealt with this before?

I don't know about putty, but with slime put ice cubes on it to freeze it first, then scrape it out with a knife. Still didn't get all the blue slime off my carpet, but helped - maybe it will work on putty.

Vinegar? We've been using that to get slime off clothes.

@Ajsmommy: Ugh yeah I didn't allow slime in my house for the LONGEST time, but then my 3 year old got one in her treat bag from school and she was OBSESSED. It's not bad but some of them are just SO slimy/sticky but I would never know till we open it

I had a couple outfits ruined because of slime... didn't see it and washed it first - disaster! And its always the name-brand clothes too! The ice worked great when I do that first though.
I'm going to see if a carpet shampooer will work on the carpet-slime tonight - not too hopeful!

DH use rubbing alcohol to get silly putty off his merino wool shirt. I think he just kept saturating the sleeve until the rubbing alcohol basically dissolved the putty.
