I asked my friend for some gift ideas for her daughter who is turning 3. She suggested some play pots and pans for their new play kitchen...
Does your LO have any pots and pans? Are they wood, steel or plastic?

We have wood (by Melissa and Doug) and I love them!! Very sturdy and don't make a huge crash when they hit the floor.

we have steel ones as cute as wood ones are. i think they like them much better because they look real, and they make noise. both charlie and olive love playing with them.

We also have the steel pots and pans, and my LO absolutely loves them. We saw them at our local co-op in their play kitchen, and LO couldn't get enough of them.

We have the steel ones that came with our kidkaft kitchen, and the red wooden Melissa & Doug set as well. Both get equal play time, but the steel ones make more noise so I think they're preferred

we have metal ones from Ikea, aside from the noise factor they are pretty nice

We got our play kitchen stuff from Land of Nod, Melissa and Doug and Ikea... All really cute and quality toys. And Ikea is so affordable!
