I asking for prayers for my friend how had her little girl today. She was 25 weeks along. Her little girl E was born at just 1lb 12 ounces and 12.5 inches long. They had hoped to make it at least 2 more weeks before her sweet baby girl came. Any good thoughts or prayers for this family would be greatly appreciated. They are being treated at the best university hospital in our area. E is their first child.
I will update as I get information.

My 25 weeker was 1 lb 5 oz and 11.5 inches. She's 3 months this week and still in the NICU but making steady progress. Let me know if I can do anything to help or encourage your friend.

Sending so many prayers. Our nicu stay was super short compared to many others but I have so much compassion for other parents going through it, there is nothing like it.

Last update I got about her sweet little girl was she is: she is taking her feeds well and they are trying to wean her off the vent!

Update: My friends little girl is still growing well. They are hoping to get her on CPAP by the end of the week. She has had some bad weeks lately so she back slid a little. She is up to 5 pounds now and doing great according to her doctors. She is growing cuter everyday.

She got transferred awhile ago to a children's hospital with an awesome NICU because the university hospital wasn't set up to care for such a long term patient. Her mum has been incredibly strong women.
