So for the last couple of weeks, dd (8.5 months) has been forcibly pushing me away when I try to give her a kiss. It breaks my heart, but I promised that I wouldn't force affection on her. Please tell me other kids do this and it will pass? Or have I done something wrong?

Mine does it too off and on. I try not to make a big deal out of it. I don't want her to feel guilty because she doesn't want to kiss me. Sometimes now she insists that daddy kisses me. It's funny.

I don't know. My LO (will be 9 months tomorrow) just learned how to give kisses. It's so cute! He doesn't do it all the time, but most of the time if I lean in, point to my cheek, make a kissing noise, and say "kiss, kiss", he will give me a kiss. I love it!
