I've seen some great posts lately about winter coat options. I'm in the market for something warm and functional for work. But, I'm worried about looking like a stuffed sausage 
in one of those down coats since I'm a bit bigger (size 16 typically).
Any ideas on more figure flattering options?

I have a North Face and it's wonderful! I like that it's pretty thin, but very warm. I hate bulky coats, they just add to the stuffed sausage feeling!

I'm the same size as you and my favorite winter coat is from Lands End! A little on the pricey side, but very warm and durable! I'm going on year 3 for mine and I live in WI so I wear it almost everyday between Nov-Mar

I live in Texas, so no winter coats for me, but I was going to suggest lands end and ll bean for coats!

@winter_wonder: I don't think they sell the exact one that I have anymore, but it's this length, and very similar style.
