@Happygal: Well, I saw them as positives...because I always understood you take the darkest part of the test line to compare to the control line, and the far edge of the test lines those days were definitely as dark as the control line. I also had every symptom to coincide with O. But then I have continued to get these ALMOST positives almost daily that I'm second guessing my ability to read a positive test. I think I might invest in some digital tests instead. No confusion.

@Happygal: Oh, and this was my first round of Clomid! But after they found the polycysitc ovaries (I had already started the Clomid), my doctor said she was not confident the low dose of Clomid would work. But I tried to stay positive about it, but it seems she was right.

@sarahnicole218: Might be worth posting pics of your test to see if any of us see anything different? Again, I feel like I've heard others have a similar experience with a lot of +OPKs after Clomid. But, if you're not sure if they're positive, that's another story. My positives are all dark, not just the edges of the strip.

@lindsayinny: here's the one I just took. Looks like this almost everyday. ETA: Sorry, it's sideways, but top is control line, bottom is test.

@sarahnicole218: Okay, from my experience, that is NOT positive. The test line is lighter than the control line. How many days after taking Clomid are you expected to O? Have the test lines varied or always been that medium color?
persimmon / 1259 posts
@LindsayInNY: I was supposed to O 5-10 days after my last pill, so I should have O'd by Friday, CD17 at the latest. And I agree, today is not a positive, but they are that same color almost every day. Though I would say that the two days I marked them as positive, they were darker than today's test. But I do not have a picture of those ones. But it's super confusing, and I think that I should probably just get the digital ones.

I do have a photo from a "positive" day...and I think maybe I just read it that way because I had other symptoms too...this is driving me crazy! Lol.

@sarahnicole218: I tried digitals this cycle and I don't know if they're necessarily any better. Maybe just a bit easier to read? I would start a post explaining what's going on. I'm fairly certain others have been in your position before and may be able to explain things a bit better!

@sarahnicole218: I like @LindsayInNY idea, start a post! I don't have any experience with Clomid, but those that have can definitely help explain it!

@sarahnicole218: Im sorry,
@littlek: FX for us both!!! I really hope there is a line or something that shows up on my wondfo tomorrow.

@Crystal: Did you POAS today? Or are you waiting for AF to arrive first? I'm anxiously awaiting news and crossing my fingers so hard it hurts!

@sarahnicole218: . Big Effing Negative.
I think I got one of the bad wandfo batches that gave false positives. I must *really* not be pregnant if I'm getting stark white on those. I'm 12 DPO, so I'm starting to lose hope.

So, I've decided not to POAS until my period is a few days late. Since Feb is a short month, that will probably push my POAS date into March since my period is due around 2/26. So I'll see you guys next month! Good luck to everyone!!

@mrs. tictactoe: I think its awesome to wait to POAS. I have peed on a stick early for 8 months and it totally sucks. Best of luck, lady!

So I just sort of started temping this month. I hate it, so I don't know why I'm doing it. I got a positive OPK on Saturday so I naturally assume I Oed on Sunday. But when I plug in tomorrow's anticipated temp, the cross-hairs pop up on Fertility Friend and show that I Oed on Monday. Ugh. FML. I didn't BD on Monday or Tuesday. And I generally don't BD much after my suspected O date. Not intentionally, just by unfortunate circumstance. So I only BDed O-3, O-2 and O-1. Would there be any benefit to BDing O+2 (which is tonight)??? Gees ladies. This sucks.

So I'm in the TWW, but there have been a ton of pregnancy announcements lately on here, FB and IRL. I've been feeling down about seeing pregnancy announcements from users pregnant with their 3rd child now. I remember when they were pregnant with their first. Just hard for me. Plus, I'm trying not to symptom spot. I don't want to get my hopes up again.
So I'll be fairly quiet these next two weeks, I'll pop in when I POAS.
Good luck to everyone out there.

@MrsMcD: I think you already hit some really good days there. +2 is only for if you're in the mood in my books!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@MrsMcD: I don't think it hurts, in case for some odd reason you ovulated late. You still got very good BDing in, that's good timing!

@bluestriped bee: Good luck, lady. I feel the same all the time.

@MrsMcD: what made you decide to temp? Can you share your chart? That should help us figure out what FF is thinking. As for 0+2, I think the chances of conceiving by then would be slim, but it could help you to feel better!
ETA: your timing is really good as it is right now! 0-2 seems to give you the best chances, and you did that.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Happygal: @littlek: @Snowdrop: Thanks for the input, girls. I didn't know if anyone considered O+2 to be a mandatory type day.
@Happygal: I don't specifically know why I started temping but here are a few factors: (1) I had an illness-related fever twice in the past four weeks and was already taking my temp a ridiculous amount of times each day; and (2) I'm in my 9th cycle TTC and just figured that I ought to try something more than what I was already doing.
Seems like temping may show that my timing has always been off. I like to BD all the time!! But DH works nights, he goes out of town, I go out of town, etc. Its hard sometimes!

I guess I never updated: AF is in full force now. I never scheduled my HSG for this month. I'm just too busy to get off of work. Our PTO cycle is funky, we don't get new days until March. I'm using the last of my days to take my car in to the shop next week (got rear ended last week! That's a different rant...) So, here's to positive results in March!!
@Crystal: I try to lie still for 5 minutes maybe? Any longer and I get a nasty UTI
@FaithFertility: I'm sorry
@Snowdrop: That's really annoying that they're making you wait that long for unexplained infertility!!
@LindsayInNY: Woot woot, your chart it lookin' good so far!! Sooooo rooting for ya, girl!!
@bluestriped bee: I hope your TWW flies by!!

@Snowdrop: 14 day LP.
@sarahnicole218: I have started to break out a bit, which is a usual AF symptom, but ever since my MC my symptoms have changed. Last time I got no warning AF was starting, and I am not having any regular symptoms this time either.
@mrs. tictactoe: I think I might take the waiting tactic next month.
@littlek: AF is due tomorrow or Friday if I calculated it correctly. Its still a bit off normal since the MC, so even this cycle is longer than it has been, but based off my positive OPKs, tomorrow is my best guess.
@MrsMcD: It can't hurt to BD tonight! And I think o-2 has the highest success rate, so you are good!
@bluestriped bee: I so understand where you are coming from. I am happy for all of these announcements, of course, but I just really really want my first LO. Hugs to both of us. And hugs to @MrsMcD too.
@doxielove: I always get awful UTIs, The longest I am willing to risk laying there is an hour. I always stock up on cranberry juice during O week and make DH bring me a glass while I lay there.
persimmon / 1259 posts
@Crystal: Oh my, I'm going to have DH bring me cranberry juice next time I'm "laying down." I'm sorry that the symptoms are making this cycle difficult. It's not over until AF shows! But if she does show, know that you are not alone in this. We are all here to relate to and support you!
persimmon / 1259 posts
@bluestriped bee: HUGS! The pregnancy announcements get me down too. We're so ready for our first child and it's hard to understand why some couples just have an easy time of it. I continue to get pregnancy announcements from friends and coworkers who aren't even "trying," and it burns every time...

@MrsMcD: Hahaha, I AM being sneaky! I POAS at work, but I don't want to hang out in the bathroom for 5+ minutes, so I put it in a paper towel and "discreetly" carry it to my desk. I look at it under my desk a few minutes then crumple it up and throw it away. I have another from today if ya wanna see it!
