@Crystal: 4 dpo and just....waiting! I think this time when I feel the crazies start to set in, I'll just channel it into looking at nurseries and baby clothes on Pinterest haha. How do you feel?

So part of me wants to pretend I don't temp...if I didn't, I wouldn't be driving myself crazy and I would be confident that I O'd on CD16. I had the EWCM and HSO cervix CD14-16, and then the next couple days CM went from creamy to sticky. And it's sticky right now still, at CD20. But since I temp, I still haven't had a spike. I think my body fooled me, geared up for O, and then didn't. Just like it has in past cycles. I was just hoping Clomid would help this cycle be different.

DH and I had a emotional night last night. He's as frustrated as I am, and the issue is that it starts to affect him, ummm, physically...if you know what I mean. So now it's a matter of being emotionally down and trying to get excited for BD, which hasn't happened successfully since Thursday night.

@sarahnicole218: will you doctor do blood work/ultrasound to check if you ovulated? I'm sorry you're at a bumpy TTC spot right now.

@LindsayInNY: way to cover your bases! Sometimes it's hard to go for the gold when you're feeling worn out, but it's worth feeling like you've given it all that you've got.

@sarahnicole218: Have you played around with your chart at all? Try and add a high temp for tomorrow to see if you get crosshairs, or maybe discard CD12 or 14 temps to see if that changes anything?

@littlek: I hope this week is way better than the last

@bhbee: Yay!!! Glad you're able to join in this month

@buttermilk: I get the same way, it's like my body knows it's ok to take a break, lol

@sarahnicole218: hugs - TTC is hard on so many levels

Finally got my positive OPK today! I was starting to get worried, I don't usually O this late. So my POAS date is going to be 2/18 instead.

@sarahnicole218: I'm sorry. TTC is sooo emotional

@LindsayInNY: I just tried to do those things. It gives me crosshairs for today if I put in three days of highers temps starting tomorrow. I wonder if Clomid could have messed with my temps all together this month. The only way I get crosshairs at CD 16 if I use the OPK method of detection, which might not even be accurate because I have ALMOST positive OPKs every day, so I wonder if my LH is just naturally high. Which can be the case with women with PCOS. I wonder if I should just call my doc, explain that it physically felt like I ovulated and see if they'd get me in for another u/s to see what's going on. They were planning to give me an u/s at 10DPO, but I've never had one to see how my follicles look or anything like that. Maybe it will give me peace of mind to just call and discuss my concerns.

    Thanks for the support ladies!

So, if anyone wants a good laugh. I was trying to explain IUI to DH and he thinks he is sooo funny because he said "when we go see the RE, will there be rooms with candlelight and beds and people will watch us DTD". I'm like DH, what are you talking about and he said well you said with IUI they try and have the best environment to help conceive a baby, don't you think candlelight would be most romantic?

One of the many pregnant girls in our office just found out the sex of her baby. So, she has been handing out cupcakes and telling everyone that if they eat the cupcake they can see the gender of her baby. Is it just me or is that kinda weird? It's great she's pregnant but I kinda feel like this is over the top. I think my PMS is getting the best of my emotions today. LOL.

  16. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@littlek: Hahaha @ your hubby. And that girl in the office needs to save her junk-revealing cupcakes for her baby shower. Not exactly office topics. I feel like at work it's info you give out when asked, if you are giving it out at all, not EAT MY CUPCAKE AND TASTE THE BABY. Maybe I am emotional today, too lol

  17. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Mrs.Panda: Same... this may seem mean but asking if its a boy or girl is one of those questions you ask because it's polite not because you really care.. it's not like it's your baby..

  18. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@littlek: I'm taking my TTC journey and subsequent *hopeful* pregnancy the same way I did my wedding. No one cares about it as much as you do. Except us here on the Bee!

  19. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@sarahnicole218: I'm not totally certain but I thought some people had multiple +OPKs after taking Clomid. Maybe ask @pui: - I thought she did?

  20. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@littlek: Bahaha!!! As for the cupcakes, that's more of a "gender reveal party" item, not one for work...

  21. cmbknyc

    kiwi / 630 posts

@littlek: lol that would certainly make BD'ing interesting - not sure about romantic hahah / And yeah, your co-worker is a little cray cray. I know she's excited but most people don't care.

  22. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@littlek: Um... yeah... I can see bringing in cupcakes with pink/blue frosting to commemorate the occasion, but telling people to eat it and find out is just weird. I agree with the others its more of a gender reveal party or babyshower item with people who love you, not random coworkers who are asking to be polite.

@Mrs.Panda: Exactly! No one cares about this as much as you will. And thats ok!

@sarahnicole218: Good luck! I wish I could offer words of advice, but I have not yet started temping.

@buttermilk: FX this is your month!! I start to go crazy at 8DPO, and right now I am clinically insane at 10.

I got stark white BFNs at 7, 8, 10DPO (that was this morning). I was feeling hopeful still until I saw the thread about when you received your BFP and most people answered 10DPO or earlier. I hope this doesn't mean I am out...

  23. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Crystal: I'd say 12 DPO is better guideline.. 10 DPO is still early

  24. Miss Sarah

    persimmon / 1259 posts

@Crystal: I will continue to cross my fingers for you. According to some of my coworkers, they didn't see their first BFP until 12DPO or even 14DPO for one of them. Don't lose hope yet!

  25. cmbknyc

    kiwi / 630 posts

@Crystal: I didn't get my BFP until 12dpo. Don't lose hope and FX super hard for you!!!

  26. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@Crystal: Implantation often doesn't happen until about 8-10DPO so that's still early! Some ladies are just the lucky 5-6DPO implanters

  27. Snowdrop

    pear / 1846 posts

@sarahnicole218: as i am unmedicated I would wait till AF then count back to see if I O'd. Bding only if i got more ewcm but since you are in clomid, i would totally ask for blood work!

@littlek: that is weird and would make me want to eat it less. Though it would still deffo eat it haha.

@littlek: LOL at your husband! They are cute but clueless sometimes. When I was trying to talk my hubs into ttc again, he was asking me what expenses would be involved with being pregnant. I told him not much, just like doctors visits, vitamins, etc. His response was "yeah but don't you have to eat special food or something". I lol'd so much. What did he think? I am supposed to eat the "special pregnant human food" in the dog food aisle or something? Haha.

And I would have soooo rolled my eyes at your coworker. Some ppl are so not self aware it kills me.

@sarahnicole218: @littlek: @cmbknyc: @buttermilk: Thanks for the support, ladies! This is our first real attempt since the miscarriage, so I know I am being more emotional about it than I normally would be.

@buttermilk: That is hilarious of your husband.

@littlek: My husband thinks the same thing, but I don't think I will correct him, lol.

Hellos sweet ladies! I just wanted to pop over and send some love to you all. I am expecting a rash of BFPs soon. Hugs and kisses.

@littlek: oh my god I wanna smack your coworker hahahah! I mean its cute and I'm sure she didn't mean anything by it but I do totally understand how you feel. It's a bit self centered and egotistical behavior.

M@Crystal: I'm sorry sweetheart. It ain't over till its over though. Fx that you have a late implanter. I think my son implanted at like 11DPO

@sarahnicole218: hugs to you my dear!!

So this month/cycle I tried a meditation podcast I downloaded. Figured it couldn't hurt and it was only about 20 minutes anyways. So, first night (Friday, I think?) around 10-10:30 p.m. (cause we're party animals...) I put my headphones in since DH was sleeping, laid on my back in bed and hit play. I woke up around midnight with my phone on my stomach and silence in my headphones. I don't even remember getting to the actual meditation part before falling asleep! Tried again on Saturday. Not much better. I dozed during the meditation part and woke up when it was over. Oops, LOL. I guess I thought it would be more "guided"? I don't know. But, if the post was to relax me, clearly that happened!
