@LindsayInNY: Aw, bummer! Fighting around O time is the worst. Hope you were able to reconcile (at least temporarily, lol) to get some action in! (and this totally makes me think of the Friends episode where Monica and Chandler are TTC and she's mad at him for smoking but pretends she's not since she's ovulating )

@littlek: Sorry about the BFN, but I agree with @Crystal, may be too early?? I hear you, though!

    @doxielove: I loved that episode!

@littlek: They say the average implantation time is 9 dpo, so 8 dpo is really early! I do believe people who have been at this TTC stuff for awhile know their bodies though. Still, I've seen lots of people here talk about having no symptoms and being totally surprised. I hope that's the case for you!

@littlek: Hugs lady !!! I think 8dpo is super duper early though

@littlek: hugs lady but 8dpo is super early. I think it's very reasonable to hold out hope until 11dpo at least!

@littlek: I also tested this morning at 8DPO. I was a little sad it was a stark white BFN, but I realized I would have had to implant at 6DPO for it to show up.

Now I need to hold out for a few more days, but its so tough!

@littlek: I agree that it's way too early to know for sure. I wouldn't give up yet.

I'm still waiting to O. Copious amounts of EWCM yesterday and today, so it MUST be right around the corner. It has been bizarre to have such dark negatives for about a week now. They are so close to positive I have believed they were positive on two different days now. I don't know, Clomid must be messin' with my body. We've been BDing EOD or even ED this week, so as long as it happens today-ish or tomorrow, I'm feeling good about it! But we'll see...I anxiously await a temp rise each morning, but today was a huge dip!

    persimmon / 1388 posts

@littlek: Back to my normal "blah" self. My CM looks how it normally does now at 9dpo (I'm not exactly spotting, but it's definetely dark...) So I'm almost 100% sure AF will be here this weekend. *sigh* I'm so mad at myself for being optimistic! I feel so stupid...like, what are the chances that I'd get KU naturally on cycle # 13!?

So DH woke up this morning and apologized. Then offered some morning BD time which NEVER happens on weekday mornings. I told him I wanted a raincheck for tonight, tomorrow and Sunday instead I also asked him to let me know next time he isn't feeling well or is exceptionally tired so we can BD before dinner instead of waiting until bedtime. Luckily I haven't gotten a + OPK yet so there's still time.

@littlek: It's still so early though!!

@LindsayInNY: Sounds like things are back on track!

I think I'm just having a very bad week. My sweet dog, Tempy, had bad test results on her bloodwork and she may possibly have liver issues, our rental properties pipes froze (so that was a fun $2k adventure) and my husband has decided he hates his job and wants to quit.

@LindsayInNY: Glad things are going better.

    @littlek: That's a lot going on- hugs!

Today is CD22/7DPO. AF due 2/5 or 2/6. POAS date 2/7. I am trying to focus on other things but it is so hard! Fortunately, we are in Vegas for 2 more days, and there has been lots of pineapple around.

@sarahnicole218: my temp dips before I O so looking good there!

@doxielove: I'm so sorry it looks like you are out. That is the worst about TTC for a while how your chances go down every month

@AmeliaBedilia: Ah the days go soo slowly at that point in the cycle!

@Snowdrop: Good to know. Thank you! I'll definitely keep you updated if I confirm in the next day or so.

@doxielove: are you still set to test tomorrow?

  17. doxielove

    persimmon / 1388 posts

@Happygal: No, AF came last night. This was one of my shortest LP yet...only 8 days. Ugh. Well, now I can call Monday morning to schedule my HSG...

Depending on when I O I may or may not be able to POAS again in February.

    I'm getting so discouraged.

  18. Snowdrop

    pear / 1846 posts

@doxielove: urgh, short LPs make AF even worse! I'm sorry you didn't even reach your POAS date.
Hoping for a positive from the HSG.

@doxielove: ugh I'm sorry. Have you have your progesterone checked? Maybe that's the issue?

  20. doxielove

    persimmon / 1388 posts

@littlek: I am definitely going to mention to my doctor that I suspect I have progesterone issues.

  21. Happygal

    pomelo / 5000 posts

@doxielove: I'm sorry. Have you experienced short LPs like that before?

  22. doxielove

    persimmon / 1388 posts

@Happygal: I've had a 9 day LP before (never 8) but they're usually around 10-11? Never any longer than that, and always with a day of pre af spotting.

  23. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@doxielove: my co worker had short LP and she talked to her doctor after about 9 months of trying, her dr put her on progesterone and she got pregnant next cycle

  24. Happygal

    pomelo / 5000 posts

@doxielove: my RE wants to see a minimum of 12 days for your LP. Progesterone supplements might be just what you need!

Still no O confirmed...and unfortunately, my DH lost his stamina and tonight was an unsuccessful try. I'm starting to lose the positive attitude I started this cycle with. CD 18 after CD 3-7 on Clomid with no O yet, makes me think this first round probably didn't work for me. Just praying that DH and I can keep it together and keep trying. We always seem to miss fertile days due to frustrations and exhaustion.

  27. Happygal

    pomelo / 5000 posts

@sarahnicole218: you mean it hasn't been confirmed by FertilityFriend? Or is there something else?

I took a peek at your chart, and while it's definitely too early to tell, I think things look positive for you! You got positive OPKs, you had EWCM which has turned to creamy, and your temps seem to be on the rise. Some people are slow risers. Keep your chin up!

  28. Miss Sarah

    persimmon / 1259 posts

@Happygal: You are correct, it hasn't been confirmed by FF. I do usually get a pretty good temp spike after O, but maybe Clomid has kind of messed with my "typical" cycle? I have a hard time believing it until I see it since I have such long cycles normally, so my body gears up to O usually a couple of times a month before I finally do.

I am just confused, a couple of days ago I had ovarian pain, tender nipples, copious amounts of EWCM...everything pointed to ovulation, but my temps do not agree yet. I have gotten less sleep than normal the past couple nights, could that have something to do with it?

I'll try to stay positive though, thank you for your well wishes!!

  29. Happygal

    pomelo / 5000 posts

@sarahnicole218: I'm glad I charted b/c I learned so much from it, but it did add a lot of stress, too. I'm remembering those feelings as I read your frustration!

I don't know if Clomid would change your temp, but it certainly could change your usual ovulation dates. Changes in sleep can definitely affect your temps, and it looks like maybe your timing was off the normal range a few times? (Based on those white dots....) I looked back at my old charts, and they are different each month.

DH has been sick but a trooper lately! Had + OPKs Friday and Saturday. Haven't checked today yet but had a temp drop so I think I've either Oed today or tomorrow at the latest. Woo!

  32. Happygal

    pomelo / 5000 posts

@LindsayInNY: alright! Welcome to the TWW, friend!

  33. Snowdrop

    pear / 1846 posts

@sarahnicole218: I think there is a possibility that you have O'd on CD16, in which case you got plenty of BD in! Your temps are so erratic I don't think you can rely on them this cycle.

@LindsayInNY: The work is over....the wait begins!

  34. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Happygal: @Snowdrop: The work isn't over yet! I told DH I bed him at least one more night

@LindsayInNY: congrats on your O! Good luck in the tww!!

@sarahnicole218: I agree your sleep problem messed up your temps. Sounds like you O'd girl!

I'm at 3dpo currently and trying to just keep myself preoccupied and my mind off my uterus so sorry if I don't check in as frequently. We got in tons of bd. Woohoo. Question, my sex drive goes into overdrive during my fertile zone, and then literally drops off on the day after I've suspected O. Like I don't think it's just in my head, my body seems to be telling me I'm officially out of the baby zone. Anybody else ever feel like that?

@buttermilk: @Snowdrop: @Happygal: Thank you for your support! I will try to keep my chin up. At this point, it won't do my body any good by stressin' about it! I'll check in soon and let you know how this week progresses.

CD1!!!!!!! @littlek: can you add me to the next list update? I think I can pull off an early POAS in Feb.

    Estimated O Date: 2/17-2/19ish
POAS/AF date: will be early but I'll do a wondfo on 2/28 just for fun! (11dpo is my preferred test date, if I get that far without spotting I'll do a FRER)
Cycle #: since last summer for #2, just coming off 4th chemical pregnancy (2 before LO and 2 this time)
    Chart link: don't chart anymore
Trying new this cycle: due to insurance issues we are not doing another IUI this month and I'm also skipping trigger and endometrin. going old school with just 100mg clomid (which is how we got LO, the cycle after my 2nd chemical, so feeling hopeful!)
Are you planning on doing anything for Valentines day? hmm, going to the RE on 2/13, that sounds romantic huh?? definitely excited for House of Cards on netflix which this board reminded me of!

@buttermilk: I am always that way about BD, my body completely loses interest after ovulation! if I try to do O+1 it's usually a big of a struggle to get interested . . .

  40. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@buttermilk: that happens to me sometimes too, I wouldn't stress about it.

    @bhbee: good luck!
