Ok, I feel a bit silly talking about this but I have a poop question: When did your LO start to make "real" stool? And by "real" I mean the firm sausage kind, not the semi-loose, semi-consistent kind that's spread all over the inside of the diaper.
LO is 12 months now and still doesn't make firm poop. Although he did make them for a little while around 5 months old, when we introduced fruit into his diet. But then he got ill with a respiratory virus and his poop became more fluid again, and it never went back to "normal". It never crossed my mind to tell his doctor about this because he eats very well, his height and weight are totally normal, he keeps growing, no fevers or fussiness, nothing that indicates something's wrong. And it's not diarrhea, just soft, rather loose stool. A friend suggested switching from the regular formula he drinks now, to soy formula. Could this help?
