Good morning! How is everyone today??? What time did you get up?
Things are hectic in our house (battling colds and a newborn with a cold SUCKS!) and I got up at an ungodly hour. Boo!

Morning! Toddler is battling a cold and infant is hitting a wonder week. Oh joy! At least I have help from my sister today to help watch the kids. Also glad I made a pot of chicken stock yesterday. Plenty of soup and jook for DS1. On the bright side, it's Thursday! Weekend is so close!

Morning!! I woke up at 6ish because I had a bad dream
Luckily I was able to catch another half hour or so of sleep before officially getting up for the day. At work now, excited for our all day post-a-thon!
@Rubies: I'm not looking forward to the no sleep part of having a newborn again!! You poor thing!! -
I woke up at 5:45 but I went to bed super early. DD1 slept until 7:40. Lucky day! We're all getting over colds, too.

Hi all! I finished up a huge project at work yesterday, so I feel like I deserve to play on HB all day long today as a reward.
I slept all the way until my alarm at 6:45 today and it was so cozy in our room that I didn't want to get out of bed at all. @LovelyPlum: Do you get a real Christmas tree? How fun!

@twodoghouse: yep! We haven't done it in a few years, since we usually travel for the holidays. But this year, we'll only be gone a few days, so we can get one. I am excited!
And yes, I think you get to play on HB all day. That's how I was yesterday

Good morning! We're still visiting my in-laws from Thanksgiving--dh usually works at home but his office is actually located near where his parents live, and his office holiday party is tonight so we just stayed an extra week. But omg things are a zoo here today! Sil got hit by a car last night--she's okay except for a hurt heel but was at the hospital most the night, and then on top of that mil has a popped blood vessel in her eye...and fil has health issues that for once are not front and center. Craziness!

@prettylizy: I had a bad dream, too! I dreamed that I left my kids and DH to take a walk and the house flooded in the meantime and they were all drowning!!! I want to cry!

@Rubies: 8 last night! I am usually well rested with 7 hours, but I guess I was extra tired yesterday since I babysat my neighbor's kid in the afternoon, too. Ya, hope you have two kids STTN soon!!

@Rubies: I had a similar crazy dream! We were at the Toldeo zoo in line waiting to see Santa on top of a highway overpass (none of this makes sense I know) and I heard crying and it was DD who had fallen off the overpass onto the ground below. I seriously went all spiderman in my dream and jumped over railings and stuff to get to her. I woke up so upset!

Hello everyone. Getting LO ready for mall Santa pictures. Hope she doesn't cry. Then getting food for the long, cold weekend. It's forecasted to sleet and snow starting tonight and the next 3 days, so we might be indoors all weekend.

I work this afternoon/evening, and LO let me sleep until nearly 8. It was amazing.

@prettylizy: I had a bad dream too!! Believe it or not, I was back in college and a friend came home drunk and I had to put her to bed... which included changing her diaper. WTF???

feel better all of you!!@MaisyMay: I am praying for that tomorrow!! She has been waking before 6am every day and will fake cry / shout and scream for an hour! We end up going to get her but she is just being loud... gah. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so I'm crossing my fingers that it keeps her asleep! She usually sleeps in and takes long naps when it's rainy out.

Ugh, as you can see above, I have been sick... I have been THAT person going in to work every single day this week (started feeling sick on Sunday night) mildly sick, and this morning I just could not get out of bed. originally emailed my boss telling her I'd rest in the morning and come in after lunch. I ate and did not feel any better. So now I'm THAT person working from home right before the weekend (I don't work on Fridays). I absolutely hate working from home so I am spending time on HB to make up for it.

Why must everyone be sick?
Ellie was and is now over it. Lorelei has a lingering goopy nose. Poor kids. I'm doing okay, and so is Mr. T. I have been wanting to drink a beer all week. But I fell asleep with Lorelei yet again last night and Mr. T gave up and went to bed. So I got up at midnight and drank my beer and cleaned the living room. How pathetic is that?! We slept in-- the bus was running late due to snow. We had to take Ellie off the Strattera. Most expensive experiment ever. She wasn't able to stay asleep all night anymore, and would be up some nights from 1am-4am. She was super sweet and usually wouldn't even come to us for anything at all. She'd just read or color, but Mr. T is a light sleeper and he would keep track of how long he heard her listening to books on tape/how long the light was on/how long he heard her moving around, and it was for hours usually. So I'm hoping her sleep goes back to normal quickly. She actually danced a jig (literally!) when we told her she didn't have to take it last night.

@T.H.O.U.: She has been doing melatonin. It does help her fall asleep, but she couldn't stay asleep. We elected not to add any additional medications at this time.

I thought I was going to be online, but I was productive, instead, lol.
But, having a good day so far! My semester ended yesterday, so now I can think about other things...like baking, cleaning, wrapping presents, shopping...oh the free time! lol

At home we are dealing with an almost 8 month old that is getting 4 maybe 5 teeth all at once according to her dr yesterday so she's been super fun lol

I had the morning off which was great since our piano arrived today!
Not sure when LO woke up but she was pretty quiet so we got her at 7am. Glorious!
