C has a cold and is teething what seems like the rest of her teeth. she's acting like it's molars (jamming things way back there) but she's still working on her 'outside' front teeth and canines! ugh. she was up every 10-60 minutes last night. fun times..

Nothing planned for now. M has been out of town all week- I have been solo parenting for 4 days. It depends on the weather we will likely spend the day eating out/walking/shopping/wine tasting at our favorite neighboring town one day and lounging around home the other.

Howdy! This weekend is going to be nuts. My GIL (grandpa-in-law? My husband's grandfather) is having back surgery today, so we're going to be spending time at the hospital this weekend. There is also a birthday party for my uncle that we need to attend. I also have a doctor's appointment on Saturday, and as long as there's no complications with the surgery, I want to try and spend some time on Sunday catching up on household tasks that I've fallen behind on. I had a major certification exam on Tuesday, and I'm waiting the results, but over the last month have been doing nothing but studying, so the house is a wreck.

Date night tomorrow- our city does an event twice a year where restaurants that are usually super pricy do 3 courses for $25. The place we're going tomorrow cost $150 for dinner on our anniversary... I'm pretty stoked to be getting a deal! No other plans...just laundry.

My Thursday was a real CRAZY ! My weekend... even crazier my little pumpkin is going on a playgroup for this great private school I'm trying to get her in (on scholarship of course.. why not?!?) my nerves are absolutely shot! I want her do well, but most importantly have a great time and feel comfortable in a new surrounding. Kindergarten is a BIG DEAL ( or so I've heard!) I just hope I'm not pushing her too hard. How exactly do you know when you're pushing them too hard and when you're not pushing them enough?! It's such a fine line.... Wish her luck & wish me wine later on that night! -
