I'm waiting (for like the 8th time in 2 days) for some maintenance guys to fix our toilets. They keep starting, realizing they need a part and going to get it and coming back 2 hours later. The floors in our unit were replaced and it has been such a hassle. Only half a year until we move!

my BFF just bought a spray tan machine (haha she's escentric like that) and wants me to learn how to use it too so I can spray her...so LO and I are going to her boutique after work to check it out. Then we will have a nice mellow night at home (while I come up with ideas to redo my living room...which is my goal this weekend!)

I'm sitting drinking a cup of cool coffee and trying to decide whether to call this attempt to get E to take a second nap a bust or not. Normally this is the latest I would let him nap, but I would be okay with him staying up a little bit later to see DH tonight...but not too much later, sigh.

I have to pack. DH and I are staying at my parents tonight (watching their dog this weekend and it easier to leave her at their house while we are at work tomorrow).

Hi girls! I've never joined a postathon chat before! I'm still at work and losing motivation so I figured "why not?"! I'm headed out to happy hour after work with some of my college girlfriends to celebrate a few of our birthdays. My friends have little ones and I'm still TTC.... ugh... Two glasses of wine for me. And I hear my boss packing up so I will be leaving early! Woot woot!

Evening. We went and bought Christmas lights for the outside of the house, and I knocked off 3 gifts on my Chanukah/Christmas list. Very happy on getting a good start.
This evening I'm trying to find inspiration for an electronic cookbook I do for work every year. We have a holiday party where everyone brings a dessert + the recipe. Need some design idea.s

@Bao: @banana: I watch Walking Dead, too!! Gees, I watch so much TV.....
ETA: Sometimes on Mondays I wake up at nearly 5 am just to watch "Revenge" taped from the night before. I try to lift hand weights or do some kind of work out while I watch it. But often times I end up eating a bunch of waffles.

@MrsMcD: No way! It's intense?? Aw man I can't WAIT!!!! I think I have 2 more DVDs to go until I"m caught up. I'm getting one tonight so I'll be having an SOA marathon. Woot woot!!!

@Bao: I could slather myself in maple syrup..... oh that's gross. Sorry.

@banana: Umm... they are like apples and oranges. My DH doesn't watch Walking Dead, but he LOVES Sons of Anarchy. I never thought I would be interested in anything zombie. But Walking Dead is more than just zombies. Its interesting human dynamics in an apocolyptic setting. And on gees... that's intense and gory too! If I had to choose one, I would go with Sons.

It is raining so Mr. T is watching the girls while I do this (I love him!) and then we are going to have some lasagna. Then I have to bake my sourdough. I almost didn't make it last night, but I'm glad I kept awake long enough. It makes the house smell so nice.

@Mrs. Twine: Baking sourdough? You are a domestic goddess!
blogger / nectarine / 2608 posts
@MrsMcD: Well... we'll refine that to, "a lady who makes bread sometimes." I do love cooking, but I can't give myself too much credit for the bread because the actual hands-on time is so minimal.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Mrs. Twine: You should take in all the credit that is given to you. I give you credit as a domestic goddess. Take it and accept it!!

Watching old episodes of Amazing Race while my cupcakes bake and LO naps.

We are watching sleepy hollow (the tv show) and chilling. DH is holding LO because I freak out when I hold her when she is sleeping. All those little newborn noises and breathing make me nervous.
