At work...munching on some old halloween candy. I forgot how good Butterfingers were!

We've hit the 6-week growth spurt & are nursing every hour! She hasn't eaten this often, ever!

@sorrycharlie: Yikes! I remember those days. When my son did that, I thought it was torture. But then I realized my milk supply went up a lot after the growth spurt nursing (which is maybe why it happens in the first place?). So when my DD"s growth spurt happened, I welcomed it. I struggled with supply with my son so I wanted to nurse on demand as much as possible with my DD. Silver lining??

I'm at home, debating on taking the laundry down to the laundry room, but not sure yet. Hubs is working late, so I'm extra unmotivated today.

I'm at home just sitting while LO naps. It's such a lazy, gloomy day!

I'm enjoying some tv and computer time while LO naps! He should be up soon though.

Just put LO to bed and enjoying a bowl of homemade mac n cheese, waiting for Greys!

DH doesn't get home until 9 tonight which gives me some ALONE time after DD goes to bed. I just baked some banana walnut bread so ill probably eat half a loaf while I watch greys -

Omggggggh my Lo is sick and had the toughest time going down tonight! She's finally sleeping and I can hb in peace!

her stuffy nose makes it so hard for her to sleep. I've been letting her nap in my arms all day and I hope she goes down easy tonight

@luckypenny: ditto! saddest thing seeing my LO breathe from her mouth! usually I nose frida her like crazy and keep her passages clear, but I lost ours during our move! New one doesn't arrive until tomorrow -.-

@chopsuey119: she still tolerates the nose frieda?!?! it's a two-person job here, I have to hold down his arms and hold his head still while DH does it
it's so sad. He cries like he's being tortured.Just finished some Chinese food, DH is bathing DS and I'm gonna watch One Tree Hill

@luckypenny: It started off really weird and so far I'm not really liking it that much. It's just so weird how nonchalant they all seem about the fact that two of them died and one got her leg chopped off. Is it just me or does it seem like they're not that affected by it?

Just finished putting LO to bed. Why does it feel so crazy when you're making dinner, making LO's food, entertaining her, bathing her, putting her down all by yourself?
The dining room is a disaster..must attend to it before DH gets home!

The Nose Frida is good but not always popular.I'm working on a blog post for work. I hate Word Press, by the way.

@glimmersnaps: You blog for work? Do you do other social media stuff too? I've recently taken over all of our social media stuff and am still getting the hang of it.

@maisymay Yeah I work for a natural parenting-type boutique and I'm writing most of their blog posts. I guess I'm also going to do some FB stuff, but I don't know exactly. There's sort of a "too many cooks in the kitchen" kind of deal lol

@glimmersnaps: We had the opposite problem. Somebody set up a facebook page for the company, and a twitter, but then never bothered to update them. When I was given they information, last week (!) I wrote the first post since March, which was the first post ever too.

@maisymay That's awesome that you're getting it going! It's funny because I was in Journalism school BEFORE social media (unless you count Napster!) so I really don't know much about all this search engine stuff and whatnot. Luckily there's somebody who knows what they're doing.

@glimmersnaps: I used to be a research librarian while in college, so I know about searching and Boolean operators, that sort of thing and can find nearly anything online.

Also, I just put DD down with no swaddle and no rocking! She is 6 months and a swaddle addict! HOORAY!!! Cross your fingers for me that it holds

@mrs. high heels so do we! I especially love it when they go to some decrepit ruin and the people are all serious about living in it
