My LO is 29 months and he still wears a diaper for naps and nights. He prefers to poop either at the end of his sleep or right when he wakes up and he is diaper is rarely clean when we get him. Once he starts to wake up with a dry diaper more frequently we will get rid of them.

Is she potty trained in the daytime? Does she often wake up with a dry diaper? You can always potty train for days first and continue to use diapers for naps/night if you don't want to disrupt her sleep.

If she isn't night trained then the crib is fine - otherwise she would need to be able to get out of bed herself to use the potty in the morning or you would have to go to her immediately if still in the crib.

you could leave the crib up if the room is big enough to accommodate both. I too was worried about all the changes happening at first. Within 2 months we introduced a toddler bed, part time preschool, and a new baby! but she adapted great!

In the beginning we would give her a choice, do you want the crib or bed? and she'd bounce between the two. once we saw she started favoring the bed, we didn't look back. Every kiddo is different but I found I made more of an issue of the whole time then it really was. Good Luck!
