@autumn865: It sounds like the association between the potty timer and going potty is so strong that the sound of the timer is triggering her urge to go!

Could you use your phone alarm or another alarm? I'd also up the rewards, so that she gets a huge reward when she goes successfully!

@autumn865: how often is the timer going off?

I can only say what worked for us, which was not pressuring him to go very often (he could hold it 2-3 hours even in the beginning when we trained at 2.5); NOT making it negotiable (if I say it's time to use the potty, it's time to use the potty--this has really only started to work now that he's been trained 2.5 months or so, but maybe if you build it into your routine); and REALLY amping up the rewards--food didn't work, we used small toys that he got to pick out of a grab bag every time he went on the potty.

Are you putting her on the potty even if she says she doesn't need to go? If not, I'd start there!
