We are getting ready to potty train LO this weekend. DH picked up 4T size undies at the store today but that sounds too big as LO is in mostly 2T and some 3T stuff now. She is 27 mos and tall and skinny for her age.
So how did undies fit your LO when they started wearing them? Do we need to take these back and get a smaller size?

Undies were loose. She was in 2T but I think the undies I bought were 3-4T? They still fit a year and a half later. I think yours might be ok.

@Andrea: thanks! Did they have trouble staying up? She has 3T trainers now and they seem loose.

@MamaCate: I'm pretty sure size 4 undies were the smallest we were able to find. My LO potty trained at 24 months and was wearing 2T tops and bottoms. They were loose on her but stayed up. Like the undies aren't really fitted on her bottom but they weren't falling down bc the elastic would keep it up at the waist and legs. So while there's extra fabric it's not too bad and we've never had an issue with them falling down.

DD wore 2-3T when we started (found them on Amazon and Babygap. The BG were big, Hanes from Amazon were perfect).
I think yours should be ok!

We are using the gerber training undies that have a bit of extra absorption. They have been great and she is in the 2T size.

DD1 is is 2.5 years old and wears Carters 2T/3T (one size)...A bit too loose.
