I had my last menstrual cycle from July 13-18 and had protected (condom) intercourse on July 20. Experienced very light spotting with just a very small amount of blood 5 days later. I took a pt test yesterday and it was negative. Experiencing severe gum soreness and so much itchiness, migraine headaches, clumsiness etc.. Possibility of pregnancy?

I think the chances are slim in this case. Of course, nothing is fail-proof except abstinence

I would say it's pretty unlikely. I would think you had sex too early for it to really be something to worry about. Typically you wouldn't have ovulated until around the 27th. Tooth pain and migraine headaches could just be because of sinus pressure.

@californialove: I think it's too early for an HPT to show you are pregnant. However, if you used a condom correctly, I think the chances are very slim that you are pregnant.

@californialove: It seems fairly unlikely, though I guess it's possible! CD 8 seems pretty early to ovulate, although sperm can stick around for a few days if you ovulated later. Is your period late yet?

Of course it's never impossible but the timing + protection makes it sound pretty unlikely. The symptoms you're describing could very well be from progesterone, which would be normal in the 2WW. Hope you feel better soon!
ETA: It's not impossible to O that early...last cycle I ovulated on CD9, but that's a pretty unusual situation and goes hand in hand with my infertility so again the chances of getting pregnant with or without a condom would be almost zero.

I agree with others, its very unlikely. The spotting you had sounds like it could line up with ovulation spotting. And I agree that your other symptoms could be a sinus infection. If your period ends up being more than a week late, test again, then go see your doctor. Hope this turns out the way you want it to!

It sounds unlikely since you just had AF two days prior, plus it was protected sex. If the condom broke the chances could be better if you O earlier than normal, but still probably slim.
