Anyone? I just finished my first IVF cycle and have had two positive betas. I am thrilled and yet completely nervous. I just want everything to be okay and keep progressing. I was hoping there would be some other ladies on here that might be in a similar spot now or were in the past.
Also, I'm new here! Excited to "meet" new online friends.

@Mrs.K: congrats! I got pregnant after 2 yrs of ttc, a dx of unexplained infertility and, 2 chemical pregnancies with my first round of iui. I am 32 weeks pregnant tomorrow.

Welcome and congratulations! That is so exciting!! I, too, am recently pregnant after an IVF. I'm about 11 weeks along now, and while I was really nervous at first, it gets easier/wonderful to have "normal" pregnancy things to worry about rather than infertility! Wishing you all the best!!!

my friend conceived on her first ivf cycle and her boy is now 4! my good friend's sister conceived triplets through ivf and they're now a year and a half.
i also conceived on clomid, but went onto miscarry. i know lots of clomid success stories though.

Congrats!!! I did injections and an IUI and am 10.5 weeks along with multiples...I think the first couple weeks are the hardest but you probably have an ultrasound scheduled soon, yes? Once you see the first scan and it becomes more real, I think that helps ease the anxiety a bit....fingers crossed for you!

My sil recently went through IVF, her daughter is a month old now. It was a very rough scary process but obviously so worth it.

Congratulations! I love to hear success stories for people who have struggled with fertility. I've made my way through all of the fertility testing over the past several months and I'm recovering from my hysterscopy now. But I hope to start clomid/IUI soon.

Conceived on our first IVF. He is now 19 months old. I was terrified for weeks. But one of the nice things about our IVF is we got a lot of early ultra sounds. So I could keep up on what was going on. I had one bleeding scare but we went to the ER and nothing was wrong (another ultrasound to see the little one).

@Trailmix: My first ultrasound is Monday! They said we'll probably just see a tiny little dot on the screen. It does feel pretty surreal right now and I'm hoping that the anxiety will ease a bit like you said after that.

@brownie: It's nice to hear success stories. We do get lots of ultrasounds too. I'm both looking forward to that part and nervous for the first few to make sure things are looking good.

Congratulations! I was in your shoes almost exactly one year ago. We have 4 month old twins from our first IVF. I was literally shaking in the car and in the waiting room before our first ultrasound, so you are not alone being nervous! Even though they are just little blobs on the first ultrasounds, I felt like I could breathe again each time after seeing them. After infertility, it just took awhile to sink in that it was really happening.
But it's really happening for you - hooray! And I hope you have a wonderful appt seeing your babe on Monday

I conceived on my first IVF after 20 months of trying (3 iuis + Clomid, 1 natural chemical preg.) LO is 8 week old.
Congrats! It's scary being pregnant after IF because you don't trust that it's really real. Best of luck!
