I have reached the weekly appointments and it has become very real that I will soon have two children! I do not feel prepared at all for the new baby. What did you do to prepare for baby #2? What is your advice when going from one to two kids?

I prepared muffins, pancakes, etc for LO #1 and froze them so that he'd still have some of his favorites when we were newly home with baby and still adjusting. That was really helpful.
Honestly, the thing I'm most glad that I did was just savoring the last few weeks alone with my first. I'd rock with him at bedtime for a few minutes longer than normal and just smell his hair and soak him in. I took him to the zoo, played at the park, built forts in the living room.... Even just putting my phone away and singing silly songs with him while he ate his lunch. With 2 kids we still get a lot of individual special moments but things are a lot more hectic!

Thanks for the advice @runningelley. I held my LO today longer and trying to enjoy our last days of just the two of us.
