I know it's typical to do a post wedding chop ( aka cut your hair) but I was curious if during your pregnancy or after baby was born you wanted to change your hair to something easier to manage, etc?

I'm think about post baby chop. I have hair almost to my waist and its just too long!

Keep it long enough for a ponytail, unless you're going really short...it's by far the easiest to deal with, especially when baby discovers hair pulling

@FriedBabyMama: thank you for the tip! I def have to have the option of a pony, but hate blow drying and dealing with long crazy hair. I didn't event think about hair pulling

@Dapple Grey: The hair pulling is brutal...I never thought about it, and my hair is layered, so the shortest layers are just a tiny bit too short for a ponytail, and they just get yanked all day long. But you could totally make it work with bobby pins or something if you wanted to make a more drastic and easier to manage change.

@FriedBabyMama: aww oh no! My friend has a little girl toddler age range , and she (still) pulls her mamas hair, its almost like a soothing type deal.
Bobby pins will be my friend!!

Yep I chopped it. It was all falling out anyway and I was tired of the pulling.

Yep, I'm 10 weeks and I chopped my hair really short a couple weeks ago. It's mid-December and I still have my A/C going, plus I had a lot of damage from hair dyeing too much I figure I'll let it grow to ponytail length, and hopefully it gets that long before baby!

@Dapple Grey: To the middle of my neck! The year before at my wedding it had been to the middle of my back, so it was quite short...I'm actually thinking of growing it back out though lol

I cut about 5" off last week. It was long and I couldn't keep it untangled. And it was (is) falling out in clumps and LO kept yanking it/pulling it out. He still does it with the shorter hair, but it's harder for him to reach now, and it's still long enough that I can pull it back.
