DD is outgrowing/outgrown her car seat. She'll be turning 4 this summer - I'm not prepared to be car seat hunting so soon! Seriously, where'd the time go?! We stopped by one of the local shops to try seats out, but they didn't have much of a selection and DD had other plans. A Maxi-Cosi Rodifix seemed the sturdiest, but I'm hoping to get some recommendations here.
What car seat do you have for your preschooler?

The closest thing to that is a Multi-Tech II, but that's barely bigger than her current seat.

@SugarplumsMom: I would have purchased a MultiTech if we stayed abroad...I think it has higher weight and height limits, no?
Do you want to continue to use a 5 point harness? We have seats that are not available abroad. My SIL uses Britax Roemer exculsively, though. She has kids 6-13 in them.

The weight limit is the same as what we have now (up to 25 kg) and they both good for up to 6 years. The Multi-Tech is bigger, but barely. Now I wish I got it instead of the High-Way. I'm really surprised that there aren't more options here. I checked the Britax US site and it looks like they offer bigger car seats (non booster seats). The only backwards facing Britax is "one you would use for grandma and grandpa's car - it's not as comfortable" - and that's according to the sales lady.

@SugarplumsMom: We have a Britax Römer Kidfix that we bought from a German website. I'm not sure which model, but we started using it when DS was 4.5 and about 20 kg.

@SugarplumsMom: check the Britax Roemer german site, that's what I did, lol.
They have harness options up to 12 years of age, like the AdvansaFix and Evolva. I wouldn't be comfortable with my son in a belted booster (Kidfix) and he's 5. He is way too squirmy and I can't count on him to sit still and in one place.
