Hubby gave me an early birthday present last night - a gift card for a professional photography session! I'm so excited because I don't have very many photos with the kids and even fewer family photos. I would love to have family photos taken once a year. It'll get pricey though.
Have you had any professional family photos taken besides the newborn ones?

We took family pics at home when Lo was a month old and for Christmas!
I can't wait to do a family maternity shoot later this year!

We are doing a family shoot next weekend with one of my friends who is an amazing photographer. She did my LO's newborn shoot. She has these 'mini sessions' twice a year and you get a 1/2 hour shoot, a disc with your favourite images (can't remember how many) for $80. It's a pretty great deal. I never did mat photos with my LO so these will be nice to have. I'm super jazzed...

@chopsuey119: I didn't do maternity photos for either of my pregnancies - really wish I did. We'll just have to make up for it going forward. I love seeing photos of the older child touching the mom's belly. so precious!

We only had newborns. It'll be a long time until we do it again, too expensive!

Yes, we had the newborn and have done 2 others so far. I hope to do at least one per year.
