Not sure how many current/former IL EI families are on here, but I wanted to make them aware. The news actually came out in February, but I missed it.

Gov. Rauner's proposed budget cuts would change eligibility from a 30% delay to a 50% delay to qualify for services. It's estimated that 10,000 children would be cut from the EI program if it passes.

I will be contacting my local representatives and telling them I oppose the cuts. IL residents, if you are so inclined, please contact your representatives as well.
