While heavily scented, Dove dry shampoo is the shiz. That's all.

Thanks for the tip! I'm using Oscar Blandi but this sounds more affordable.. But I'm thinking if the Oscar Blandi scent gives me a headache, dove is not going to be much better...

It really is! And tbh I'm glad it's heavily scented because my hair gets stinky quicker than it gets oily (no idea why but it started after P)!

Never tried it (or any other dry shampoo) but thanks for the rec!

I like the one in the silver and yellow can that smells like lemons. The smell of the Keratin treatment one is too much.
Absolutely in love.

I have been using treseme, but I love dove products so I will have to try it!

I feel as if I'm a dry shampoo junkie. My favorites are Suave and Victorias Secret. I hate Tresemme.

ohhh I will have to try!! Thank you :). I use Batiste right now and it's the best of the ones I've tried... I will give Dove a chance though for sure.. stupid greasy hair of mine.

@Mrs. Champagne: I'm glad it's not just me! I literally hated everything about it.

@Mrs. Polish: I think mine it the "Invigorating" one. I didn't know there were others!
Y'all, I washed my hair yesterday morning, didn't dry it, and used the Dove last night before going out. When I woke up my hair still looked freshly washed. When I washed it at 2 pm it still looked freshly washed. That's no joke.

For some reason I am really scared of dry shampoo. I wash my hair every day, and I hate it! It gets really oily if I don't though.
Maybe I should bite the bullet and give it a shot while I'm on maternity leave?

@rahlyrah: Girl, try this stuff! It's amazing! Typically you could fry chicken in my hair by the end of the day. Not so with the Dove.

@rahlyrah: you will absolutely not be washing your hair every day with a newborn...Go ahead and purchase it to keep on hand, lol

@Weagle & @PrincessBaby: Thanks ladies! I will pick some up on my next Target run Hopefully it is pretty fool-proof!

Ooh, I'm curious about this now! I also have the Tresemme one and don't care for it (it's the only dry shampoo I've ever tried, so I thought maybe they just don't work on me...)
I have a bad case of oily bang syndrome. I wash my hair every night, and by 3 or 4PM the next afternoon, my bangs are glued to my forehead looking all slick. Ugh!

@rahlyrah: do it! I have thin straight hair that I had to wash everyday. Now I do every other day and use dry shampoo! One time I woke up late and didn't wash on a wash day so I used the dry shampoo two days in a row and it worked!
I usually do an updoo or waves on the dry shampoo days.

@Meridian: The Tresemme really is awful. Try the Dove! I have also used Psst! but it's not as good as the Dove.

@rahlyrah: @Meridian: The more often you wash the oily your hair will become b/c it's trying to compensate for the lost natural oils that protect the hair! I totally fell into this too & my hair would get SOOO oily! Now I wash weekly & can usually do 3 days styled down (including wash day) w/ dry shampoo on day 3 and then wear it up in a messy bun (since dirty hair makes for a much better messy bun). I know stylists that wash their hair ever less! The Dove is REALLY good & since you can get it at the grocery store it's not an inconvenience to keep stocked!
