Have you seen this? It makes me SO damn angry that the people of PR are not receiving adequate aid and the federal government seems to not care. I wish there was something more we can do. I am planning on donating to BStrong as Bethenny Frankel is doing amazing things there currently.

My best friend is living in San Juan while working for the government. I haven't read many news reports, but have gotten daily updates from her. The situation is so incredibly sad! (She was pretty lucky, but there's a lot of destruction around her)

@NorthStar: I donated to her foundation too! I love that she is on the ground too, and showing us what they're able to do with the donations. I love that she is targeting towns that aren't getting anything.

I donated to her disaster relief organization as well as a neighbor’s gofundme page. The reports my neighbor is getting from her family there are shocking and depressing. I can’t believe how this can happen in this day and age.

Friends of mine have family in PR and USVI. They collected items to send to both places. With PR's infrastructure the way it is now I ended up donating to Carmelo Anthony's fund.
Mark Zuckerberg took a virtual tour of PR's devastation to promote FB's new virtual capabilities. There is a gross level of insensitivity and care displayed right now. Maybe it's just too many horrible things happening at once or maybe it's something else.
