T is not crawling yet and behind in his gross motor skills at almost 10 months.
It's not really the fact that he's not crawling yet...because some babies never crawl. It's really that he doesn't push up on his hands or do anything but lay in the floor and roll around. Hes doing the same things he has been doing since 7 months. That's the last time he made any progress during floor time. (His fine motor skills and cognitive development are fine, if not slightly ahead).

The thing is, he doesn't like being on his belly. He either is rolling, or on his belly to reach a toy and then he flops back over to play with the toy on his back. Our ped and EI therapist (currently not pursuing EI. This was during a consultation) said to give him as much floor and tummy time as possible.

Should I keep putting him back on his belly? That makes him frustrated and angry when he's otherwise happily playing. I feel like playtime gets cut shorter when we push tummy time because he quickly gets frustrated.
But he's not making progress on his own either.

What would you do?
