Do you do it as you buy/wrap them, or wait and put them all under on Christmas Eve? Or do you put out gifts to/from adults and gifts from Santa for Christmas Eve?

Right now, I put them out right away. As soon as DD starts to become aware (2 or 3?) I'll probably wait until after she goes to bed on Christmas-Eve. It will be weird to not have everything under the tree for a whole month!

This is the first year we're doing Santa, but we're going to leave "his" big gifts unwrapped, and might wrap the smaller one. Everything from us gets wrapped.

I usually wait until I have all the gifts and then wrap them all in one day. I don't have an LO yet so there are no Santa gifts!
My mom used to put the presents under the tree around a week before Christmas, I think? Then all the presents from Santa would "appear" while we were asleep Christmas Eve.

In years past, I liked putting them all out before Christmas. Now that we have a kiddo around, I think I like the idea of having them all out on Christmas Day. Maybe when she gets a little older and the amazement of all the presents being there is lost a little, I'll put the "from mom and dad" presents out and just hide santa presents until Christmas Day.

Everything goes under the tree but Santa gifts.

I put them under the tree right away! When we have LOs I will wait to put Santas gifts out on Christmas Eve night.

Santa's gifts appeared Christmas morning in my house. I plan on doing the same for DS!

I usually put them out right away but probably not this year since I don't want a little someone messing with them.

@mrskc: That's my fear this year! The meddling! I think in future years, when he understands Santa, we'll probably put out the ones from to/from us and put out Santa gifts on Christmas Eve...maybe? I just remembered that we always travel for Christmas, so I'm not sure how to work that...

I put them all out except Santa gifts. I always liked seeing all the presents under the tree, makes it festive to me.
but they are all in our gated area where LO can't touch them or they would get carried all over! (we also only have a tabletop tree this year)

I'm lazy, so nothing is wrapped yet. I'll get to that Christmas Eve.

We have "fake" gifts under the tree then the real ones go out on Christmas Eve!
