Have you tried just regular old Gerber or store-bought purees? Maybe she just likes the cheap stuff, lol.

More than likely, she's just not ready yet. Take a rest for a week or two and try again. Or maybe look into BLW. Some babies just dont like purees in general.

DS just didn't get it for the first two weeks, we just gave him a couple of tasters each time, probably no more than a couple of teaspoons at most, but it took a while before he started wanting food. And for the last two days he's refused to eat again so I think we'll have to start the process over again

@Crumbs: Starting solids can be super stressful. Our ped told us that it takes LOs 20 bites of something to decide if they do/don't like something, so don't give up! J hated peas at first but now he gobbles them up. It's a process to get them to where they really want food and then you have to keep up w/it, J forgets that he likes something if i don't offer it to him for a while. I do agree with PP, if your LO is totally uninterested just do a bite or two each time, they get the hang of it after a while

When you're introducing purees, it shouldn't be for nutrition (as I've read), since baby is getting all its nutrition from milk. So when you're giving your LO purees, I think for now at least, it's about introducing different tastes and a new texture. Try not to get worried or stressed! The first thing I gave LO was a taste of smashed banana off my finger...Then pureed butternut squash...It took a while before she actually enjoyed it!
