That looks like the one we are borrowing from a friend. If I remember correctly, since we bought her the car seat and extra base, it is the 30 carseat but the 35 base.

That's the one we have... There isn't a level on the base like there is with the base you get with the carseat, but it's still easy to level. Snap the carseat into the base, on the side of the carseat there is a red line to be used for leveling. You can eyeball it, or use an actual level (the kind with the bubble in the tube) to make sure the red line is completely horizontal when snapped into the base. If I remember right, that process isn't described anywhere in the manual that comes with the base, but is described in the carseat manual.
