Big? Small? I don't have the option for half sizes and I'm usually a 7.5.

The shoe part is true to size, I find the calves snug compared to other boots .

I'm a 7 1/2 and I believe my boots are an 8. I wear thicker socks under them or pants inside.
Like @char54: said - the calves are definitely snugger. I tried a size 7 on in store after we bought the 8 and I could barely get it off my tree trunk legs!!
If you have skinny calves, 7 may fit. If you have muscular or bigger calves, go size 8.

@LindsayInNY: I usually have skinny calves I think, but during pregnancy they get huge! I will probably get an 8.
I am just afraid they will make my feet look like skis!

I agree with the others, go for the 8. Particularly if you plan to get the boot liners for them. And the calves definitely run skinny -- I can't tuck my pant legs inside mine, which sort of defeats my purpose in getting them in the first place

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I don't feel like I have ski foot in them! I have the boot socks that I wear with them in the winter, especially if I'm wear them with tights to work. I also wear them with skinny jeans. That plus my calves wouldn't fit in a size 7. If you're ordering them online, is it a site that allows free shipping/returns?

@LindsayInNY: actually our local costco has the classic Wellies right now for $79! So my husband is picking them up for me before they sell out. Costco is great about returns, thank goodness.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Wow, that's a good deal!! At least they're good about returns. Worse case scenario, even if they're loose in the calf area, they'll still fit. You can always layer items on your legs to help. I think my foot moves a little inside but I don't mind since they're boots. Let us know how they work out!!

I'm 7.5/8 and all my Hunters are 8. Especially so you can wear thick socks and pants jeans tucked in.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I was just researching the same thing this morning! That's a great deal, I wish we had a Costco!

I found them to run big. I'm usually an 8, bought and 8.5 to account for thick socks and they are just waaaay to big. I wish I had returned them when I still had the chance.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: As I was opening this thread, I was wondering if you were talking about a Costco deal.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I stocked up on some Tretorn rain boots a couple months ago. I think I'll pass this time.
Which Costco did you go to?

@bluestriped bee: Gig Harbor.
I ended up going with a 7....good thing! There's lots of room in them.
The calves are tight though!! Is it possible to stretch out the top?

@Rainbow Sprinkles: what color did you get? I got B a pair and now I want my own.
eggplant / 11287 posts
@littlek: ahhh!! I'm dying to get W a yellow pair! Especially since we are having another little girl who can wear them--worth the price!
I got a dark slate gray color.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: we got red for B and I LOVE them! We got B's off paperlime. I was actually deciding between red and yellow.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I have to wear mine with skinnies or leggings. If there is a way to stretch out the calves, I haven't figured it out yet.
