If your infant is pretty mellow and has lots of good quiet alert time, do you always interact during those times?
We are so busy with 2 that sometimes we put the Littlest One in the crib while she's quiet and alert while we finish doing tasks or whatever we need to do.
We spend tons of time interacting with her as well... I probably spent an hour this morning just babbling back and forth with her.
But I still sometimes feel guilty that I'm not enriching all her quiet alert times.
So what do you do? And do you feel guilty about it?
I took DD everywhere with me when she was little, and I spent every minute of her awake time talking to her, cuddling her, etc... With DS, I often have to leave him in his bouncy chair or on his play mat during his awake time. I just feel bad that I don't have the opportunity to give him the same attention I gave DD at this age.
