I've never done it for a whole night...the only time we do it is if he wakes up at 5:30, I'll pull him into bed and sometimes get another hour (which is really just dozing for me). I don't think I would be able to do it all night--way too nervous, plus our queen sized bed doesn't seem big enough!

Guilty for a few hours. On top of me. Sometimes, I fall asleep without meaning to.

Never for a whole night and maybe only 3 times for a nap when she was a newborn.

Never for a whole night. In the first couple weeks, he took a few naps on my chest while I was laying in the middle of our bed and I dozed off.

Only in hotel rooms and my brother's house! It was always horrible until he got older (like 3 years old) and would sleep through anything! I have NEVER co-slept with LMW! We don't even have them fall asleep in our bed... we sit with them in the glider in their own room. Our bed is really more like weekend morning play time area, not sleepy time.

I've done it once by accident. Scared myself half-to-death! But DS loved it. Since then, I've brought him to bed with me a couple of times but never let myself fall asleep!

Never ever have. Way too nervous. And our dog sleeps in our bed. Especially in the beginning, we didn't want the dog to lick or do anything to the baby. I may have dozed once or twice in the nursery rocker after he fell asleep on the Boppy on me. That's it.

We had Owen in the co-sleeper for ages, but I was always too nervous to actually have him in bed with us. Once he got to around nine months or so, he ended up in the bed for a few hours each night though.

I'm impressed with those that haven't even done it for naps! I've never done it for more than an hour or so, with the super early morning wake ups.

On the wknds now, when he wakes up at 7/730am for his first nursing session, I'll feed him in bed and we'll sleep for another hour or two.

Until 2 weeks ago, I never did. But then LO caught a nasty cold and it was the only way any of us could get even a little shut-eye. I sent DH to the guest room (I trusted myself not to squish her, but not him!), arranged pillows around us to keep her in my arm nook then got a few hours of sleep. She's 9.5 months old.

@Goldilocks1107: Sorry to thread jack here....but your comment made me giggle a little bit. I would have to send DH to the guest room too if I ever wanted to co-sleep. One of our kitties sleeps tucked in my arm right between my DH and I every night, and last night DH rolled over, almost completely onto the kitty! I felt him on my arm first and then I pushed him and woke him up saying he almost squished our cat!

Alright just had to say that! LOL

Only for maybe an hour or less a couple times when it helped get her back to sleep as a NB.
