Trying to find a rash guard to add to M's bday wish list.
Are they breathable? Where did you get yours? Do you like it? Do you think I need a name brand like iPlay or do the Carter's, Target, et al all have built in SPF as well?
Thanks!

I got LO the iPlay rash guard and they seem okay. I saw they also have them on Janie and Jack and Gap.

I bought my daughter's last year from Lands End and I love it so much! I got it on sale in May for around $10 I think? At full price they are $19.50 and so worth it - they wash well, have SPF 50 built in, and lasted the whole summer at the beach and pool. No fading, no holes - I could use it again this year if it still fit my LO! I actually bought 2 (her size and a size up for this year) because they were so cheap.

We buy the Costco sunsuits and they're great. I think they have spf50 built in, they're cheap, and very cute.

@ktdid23: I second lands end! I have been buying DD's there for 3 yrs. they are durable and also very cute. I buy them at the end of the season for the next year but even regular price they are fairly priced. You can mix and match the rash guard with a mini swim skirt which is really cute.

I think as long as your get one with a good SPF rating it doesn't matter where they are from.
We had one from Gap and an iPlay. They were both nice, but the iPlay screen printing wore off after a few wears/washes and didn't look as nice.

@T-MOM yes, we got a teal rash guard with 2 different bottoms (one was an orange ruffle bottom and the other was a pink swim skirt) - I love that the solid rash guards coordinate with all of the bottoms that LD offers!

I am eyeing one online at target that zips all the way like a jacket. It has SPF 50, and the reviews said the zipper is easier to get off wet than pulling it over her head. It's $19.50 I think, and has a bottom. Otherwise, target had a.bunch online (and some were iplay).

@bpcmarj: I just put that one on her wish list! M's got a huge head so I was concerned about the neckline!
