Just wanted to vent. Have a small heat-rash type thing on my neck and a flushed area on one cheek. The cheek doesn't itch but the neck does. I've broken down and started taking Benadryl to combat the itch, but it barely helps.

I am someone with skin allergies and am often covered in some sort of rash or hives. Benadryl won't touch the itch. Best things are topical such as calamine lotion (old school) or there is one spray on anti itch I love but don't remember the name. I sometimes use vinegar because it is available. Zyrtec can be used for skin allergies but I have low blood pressure and it just makes me feel drunk so I can't take it.
Good luck, itching sucks. Remember it cousins be worse. The worst for me have been itchy feet and itchy ears.

@brownie: Sorry to hear about the allergies! I have allergies too, but skin reaction is new for me. I guess I'll have to buy some calamine lotion soon if this doesn't clear up in a day or so. Thank you for the suggestions!
