Anyone's LOs have a similar rash before? DS has been to his ped, then urgent care on Friday who sent us to the ER to get checked because she couldn't diagnose the rash. The ER dr said it was just chapped skin but did say he has a bacterial infection on the skin under his nose, conjunctivitis in both eyes and a cold to boot. I'm not comfortable with the "chapped skin" diagnosis because it gets worse and then starts going away then gets worse again. He is on eye drops and clindamycin (antibiotic). Poor guy is so itchy.
