We're leaving for VA in a few hours to stay with my BFF until Saturday morning, when we will be heading down to NC to stay a week in a beach house with DH's family.
I should be packing (I'm about half done), cleaning up the kitchen, cutting fabric for pieces of a mobile I'm making, and want to take a shower, but instead I'm trying to pretzel myself to repaint my toenails.
How's your Friday night shaping up?

Home watching HGTV with my mom while baby is sleeping. Afraid she won't sleep tonight since she napped from 3-5 and just went down again!

@regberadaisy: Yep, the house is right on the beach. I'd be more excited about it if we weren't sharing the house with 9 other adults and 4 very rambunctious little boys, but I'm looking forward to getting some sun, floating in the water.
And yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. I can bend over for about 30 seconds before it starts to get uncomfortable, so I'm taking off the old polish and painting the new in 30 second intervals.

My Friday night is my usual procrastination debate around the gym vs dinner. Do I go to the gym hungry and risk murdering an innocent bystander in a low blood sugar/starvation rage, or do I eat (a subway club), let it settle (procrastinate), and THEN drag my ass to the gym? Yeah, pretty boring over here...DH left for work 2 days ago, so this is how lame it gets without him on the weekends;)

ETA: I haven't responded for myself yet because it doesn't feel like it's Friday night here so I feel like I'd be misrepresenting LOL. It's 4:21 and I'm getting ready to leave work (6 more minutes!!) and then I will be buying fruit to make some fruit cobblers and going to bed early because our home inspection is tomorrow morning at 8 and I'm exhausted!

Good lord, do you know how long it took me to figure out what NBR was? I was just about to Google it.
I'm about to go outside and weed the garden. And after work, I bought new glasses. They are the black-rimmed sexy librarian type. I feel sophistimicated.

DH just grilled some burgers and I've got a strawberry rhubarb pie in the oven. Going to sit down, feast, and then watch Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Slow night, but a good night.
