Not sure if anyone already posted this but I liked it. It's local for me too which is encouraging that this area is making changes and asking questions as to the outrageous c-section rate in the US. As someone who had a medically unnecessary c-section and making a VBAC attempt very soon it really hit home for me.

I hope you get your VBAC doll! C sections are a wonderful thing but they definitely get over utilized in the medical world. Mostly due to fear of litigation I think. It seems there has been a shift though and more hospitals are trying to support women who prefer a vaginal birth so I think that it helps that you are your own advocate.

I hope it happens for you! And thanks for posting the local video. My birth was at a hospital with one of the highest c-section rates in the region so I was very grateful that my OB worked hard to avoid one in a situation where anyone else would have just pressured me to do it.

Ughhh....still stressing about this decision! Officially in the third trimester so I need to decide. I'm just so afraid of making the wrong decision.
It was a good video. And it comes down to one line the doctor said "Uncomplicated VBACs are the least risky, but a complicated VBAC that ends in a repeat c-section is more risky than a planned repeat c-section." I really don't want to end up with a c-section anyway. Like I said...ughhh

Thanks for the post. It's good information, but I'm still going to keep my repeat C-section.
@NeekieRose: I know the dilemma! My doctor supported me if I wanted a VBAC but she gave me all the information and I made the decision to do a repeat. She noted that since I wasn't blessed with the nice wide childbirthing hips, the chances of a repeat were pretty good since I make baby babies. 
I decided I'm not recovering from both again!

I agonized over this decision. I eventually landed on VBAC since I had no reason to believe I wouldn't be able to have a vaginal delivery (c-section was due to breech baby), but looks like baby 2 is going to stay breech, so looks like a repeat c section for me too. Part of me is relieved that I don't have the risk of trying and failing and having a c-section anyway, but part of me is a little bummed...I was hoping for an easier recovery (even though my first c-section was a very easy recovery, I have heard that vbac can be even easier).

@Mrs. Lion: There is still time for baby to flip, maybe you will get your VBAC! But I get the relief of something else making the decision for you.
@LuLu Mom: I'm glad you have come to a decision you are happy with! Recovering from both is my biggest concern. Recovery from just the c-section wasn't that bad. Good luck!

@NeekieRose: She might! my uterus appears to be shaped in a way that keeps babies in one position though Lo1 and Lo2 have both been exactly the same position for both pregnancies! Crazy, huh? My OB isn't optimistic about her turning haha. But there is always a chance!
