I was 39+6 with high BP, so my OB decided to induce. I was worried but so tired of being pregnant. By the time I got to the hospital, my BP normalized but it was like..."you're here so let's do it." I was already at a 3 and 60-70% thinned out so they thought I was a favorable candidate. Yeah...no. He just wasn't ready so they cranked me full of pitocin. It took 32 hours and 3 hours of pushing. I am fine with the way things turned out because I now have my son but I would ABSOLUTELY rethink having an induction in the future unless it was completely necessary.
