I know some of you love Target as much as I do...
I went last night for some pens and cough drops but I also ended up with some thermal PJs for LO!
Have you purchased anything that you don't really need?

I ALWAYS end up buying things that aren't on my list. I go for some shampoo and q-tips and come out with lipstick, chocolate, hair ties, etc.

Everytime I go into Target! I have had to put myself on Target spending freeze... I can only go twice a month!

Every single time I step foot into Target (which is at least once a week), I buy something(s) I don't really need. We're on a tighter budget now that I'm staying home, so I really do try my best to reel it in. However, it something is on sale, or if, God help me, they haul baby holiday attire out, I might just crack.

I saw those thermal pjs! I was somehow able to resist, still spent over $100 when I only went for vitamins!

I pretty much never get out of target for less than $100. EVER.

@autumnlove: I think you may have an obsession with PJs!
I bought some Thanksgiving decorations for DD. And a princess wand. Because she really needs that. It was only $1......

I went grocery shopping at Walmart and came home with markers and stickers for DS. I swear I buy more for him when he's not with me than when he is!

About to make one soon once this stupid headache gets better. I plan on buying baby oatmeal (easier during the weekends for me), chips, coleslaw mix and dressing for dinner tonight, grapes, and stocking holders. We'll see what else I bring home.
Also, one of my husband's coworkers is expecting, so I may raid the baby aisle with some of our favorites as part of a future shower gift.

i used to grab anything i saw! now we're on a strict budget so no longer.
I just got home from target actually - food shopping! $82, then after redcard, cartwheel and coupons, it came to $59

Just bought a bunch of halloween clearance for 90% off! Straw cups for 39 cents and carter's sets for 99 cents - yes, please

@sorrycharlie: Nice! I need to bring a check to Target to sign up for Red card and upload pics off my phone so I can download apps!

@autumnlove: they're starting to have more and more organic options, too! I don't really buy organic unless it's a steal, but still nice to have.

well.. last time I went to target, I came this close to walking out of there with a new Red card. 5% back, even on gift cards.. considering how many gift cards I've bought there, I was thinking it might be worth it.. but I so don't want another credit card...
Anyone want to sell me ? Maybe @autumnlove: ?

@T-Mom: Get the Red debit card - same perks, just takes money directly from your account. It is totally worth it!!

I am thinking of going tonight, but I don't really NEED anything (other than diapers that I am going somewhere else to buy). I really just want to go to walk around and kill time Last time I went I got random K-cups, a zombie sign for DH, and candy corn.

@T-Mom: I think you get free shipping from the website and special promos? I haven't signed up yet but I will let you know when I find out!
honeydew / 7488 posts
@sheskrafty: I'm deathly afraid of debit cards.. I know it's irrational, but I'm scared something is going to happen and that I won't have any recourse since the money will already be gone...
@autumnlove: thanks!

@T-Mom: @autumnlove: I have the credt card. It's great. Free shipping any amount on the website. And way better register coupons! I usually get two or three each visit, and they can be like $5 off home or 20% off baby, in addition to the normal grocery stuff. You get big special item coupons with your statement too, but I've never used them. And the 5% off applies to everything...even stuff like apple products.

@autumnlove: Thermal PJs? For which LO - size?
Went to Target the day we left for our trip for a couple of new small toys for the flight. Walked out with an additional Zany Zoo (for Xmas - on sale).
I'm officially feeling Target-withdrawl after a week, so we are going today after LO wakes up from nap! I want the long one-piece thermal PJs for myself - saw an ad!

I always buy stuff we don't need. Which is why DH banned me from going every week. I can only go every other week now.
@shopaholic: My Mom bought the ZZ on sale for R's Christmas gift too!
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
@shopaholic: I bought them in 2T for LO! The Carter's Target brand!
honeydew / 7488 posts
@MerryC: thanks for the input.. so tempting... I think I might do it next time I go.. I have a lot of CC's, but I pay them all off. It's just a lot to keep track of, that's all!

@Smurfette: Now we just have to find the space for another big toy! Ours is still sitting in my car. lol.
@autumnlove: Darn! I was hoping they had infant size.
pear / 1723 posts
@T-Mom: I feel you. Sometimes I swear I'm going to close all but one credit card! I hate keeping track too, especially now with mama brain. But I'm at target with the kids like every other day, so it makes sense for us.
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
@shopaholic: I think they have 6 month and 12month but not 9 month!
How much was the ZZ on sale? I want to get one!

@autumnlove: I bought thermal pj's for my E! Her's are pink with forest animals

@HLK208: nice, those are so cute! I was just drawn to animal print....lol!
pineapple / 12234 posts
@shopaholic: they had them in all sizes but they weren't in the clothing area at my target, they were on the end of the baby aisle (where blankets, garners sleepers and bibs usually are).

Um...how about my entire last trip? Haha. We went in to "look" and walked out $95 later...hahahaa.
