LO has started standing in his crib (which is really cute), and of course that means he's started to nibble on the top railing of the crib. Does anyone have a nice looking teething guard they really like?

We have a clear-ish gummy one from Babies R Us. I thought it was nicer looking (and probably nicer on the teeth/gums) than the hard plastic ones.

We bought these for the crib rails and are happy with them. http://www.target.com/p/trend-lab-narrow-fleece-rail-cover-natural-front/-/A-13809800#prodSlot=medium_1_22&term=crib+rail+cover
I was worried that the clear plastic one with a sticky fastener might damage the wood/finish.

I'm going to make our own too! Here's the directions I'll be trying to follow. http://www.janemarieblog.com/2011/09/handmade-mondays-diy-teething-guard-houston-baby-childrens-photographer/

I want to use our bumpers as pseudo-teething guards... but I think ours are too fluffy/stiff.

@anbanan15: Is it just a correctly sized rectangle piece with buttons and button holes? Or did you do any curving for the two side pieces?

@swurlygurl: Nope, just rectangles. The buttons are attached with elastic instead of button holes. I attached the elastic to the inside of the back piece and then the buttons on the front. All the tutorials I saw out there were for tie ones and I felt LO would be able to figure that out faster than the buttons (there is little slack in the elastic and it's sort of hidden more than a bow).
