I'm 5'0 and hubby is 5'9. We're looking for a "modern" (for their compact size) beige or white glider that we can both rest our heads on.
What glider do you have? Do you recommend it? How much did you spend on a glider?

Gliders come in all different price points. There isn't a right or wrong amount to spend.
I absolutely love mine. I bought the matching ottoman, but you can certainly get a different ottoman or pouf to tie into the nursery decor. I ended up getting a Target pouf just for DH to use when he's in the nursery with us because I didn't want to give up my ottoman for him to have a seat.

Pic of the Target black & white pouf (not my house), but it was just $20!

Best! I forget which one I have, but it's sooo plushy and big and comfy for both DH and I (he is a lot bigger!)

Check out the little castle brand at target. They have a lot of options and we've founds ours to be very comfy. Less $$ than the higher end ones, but look nice and do the job

We have 2 different models from Little Castle and both are extremely comfortable. We bought ours from Buybuybaby and Babiesrus. You can customize them too.

We have a puff rocker like this one. I wanted something that I could use in the house long after we were done having kids.
And the cover is washable-win win!

Look at Best chairs (buy buy baby). We have the Irvington and it's ridiculously comfortable though I wouldn't call it modern in design. It's also not the highest back, but there are others that are higher.

We have an upholstered Dutailier glider with ottoman and I'm sitting in it right now--we love it! It comes in various colors or you can choose custom fabric. Just leave 12-16 weeks because they make it in Canada and don't make it till you order it. Also, the factory is in Quebec and I believe the whole factory is closed the month of August. Ours is in light gray and the gliding motion is perfect.

I love our little castle recliner from Buy Buy Baby. It's compact but I love the reclining option more than I thought I would!

I didn't have one, but I still dream about incorporating one in our living room somehow. I really like the ones from Pottery Barn, but I can't attest to their comfort.
