Do you have a set of non-stick pans you really like? My parents said they would get us a new set as a birthday gift and I can't seem to decide which ones would be good.
Nothing too crazy expensive probably and ones that will work well for a glass top stove. The most important thing would be not having eggs stick to them!!!
Any recommendations?

Calphalon pots and pans.
Clean up is an absolute breeze and cooking is healthier because you use less fats and oils to prevent sticking.

We just got a green pan for eggs a few weeks ago and we are now looking to buy a whole set. We do have a set of Calphalon but the so far the green pan is much better. Easier to use and way easier for cleanup.

I like my 2-pack of Calphalon non-stick. I think they're the same ones as @chopsuey:

We use and love Calphalon for non-stick. The biggest "trick" to keeping non-sticks non-stick, is to never use high heat on the pan, regardless of brand.
Our cast iron are also essentially non-stick and the upside is since there is no Teflon high heat is ok.

@marfi: I do live near Ikea! I should pick up some of theirs too probably to have for DH (he has done some damage to my old set)

I really love Scanpan. Just make sure whatever you get isn't a teflon coating because it flakes off eventually. Something like Scanpan (and maybe Greenpan?) are made of non-stick material I believe.

@dojo: Oh and another tip to add to @yoursilverlining: which I didn't know, use silicone spatulas/spoons/etc. - won't scratch. I need non-stick-everything clothing!

We only have one non stick pan, but we chose it because it didn't have as many toxic chemicals in the coating. We've been very happy with out cuisinart green gourmet pan.
