I'm starting to think about compiling stuff for my hospital bag and I need a ROBE! I only have short little slinky robes besides my terry cloth bathrobe. I want something nice and warm for the hospital AND for night-time feedings.
Any recommendations and/or links to your faves?

The robe I have is Charlotte brand- I can't find it online, but it is super plush and soft. I used it in the hospital and all the time when I am up in the middle of the night. It was a lifesaver for waking up with night sweats and needing to get out of bed to take care of the baby. My boy always falls asleep very quickly when he snuggles into the robe.

i opted for a thinner robe since I live in a warm climate and I frequently would just sleep in the robe, nursing bra, and pj pants due to frequent nursing.

I have one from target that I looooove! They're on clearance now but it's just the right length (long enough where I'm covered if I don't have bottoms on, but not super long & awkward to walk in), and so soft and warm. I have a gray polka dot version of this robe. Highly recommend.

@lemondrop: @T-Mom: Thanks! I already have a few short robes (and packing one of those for now) but I was hoping for a longer length and not too bulky, but warmer than the silky ones, if you know what I mean?
@Arden: @mrs. bird: Great! I will check it out this weekend! That length looks good! I hate having my legs exposed to cold air, but I read it's awkward to wear pants in the hospital since they check you down there all the time!

I bought a long, thin flannel robe from Ross. It was from Polo Ralph Lauren and hits just below my knees but is quite soft and very large. It was about $12.

@MaisyMay: Good score! I checked out the TJMaxx the other day but they didn't have anything - probably all wiped out from Xmas. I'll keep checking though!

@shopaholic: Whenever I looked in the women's section anywhere, all that I would find was the super plus robes or slinky short ones. That's why I finally decided to look in the men's dept, and they had exactly what I wanted, plus it was cheaper!

I actually got a really nice and plush one from Bed Bath and Beyond. It was on clearance and I used the coupon!

@mrs. bird: I actually finally found the robe you linked at the 3rd Target I went to! It's sold out online (but less than $9 online!?!?!_ and more than double the price in store, but for $18 (clearance) it is the perfect length and warm & cozy without being too thick for the hospital bag! THANKS!
