We were going to go with a Motorola monitor because it seems so popular, but after having to return two for missing parts we're moving on. If you have another brand and love it, what are you using? What do you love about it?

We have been really happy with our Samsung. Had it about a year now. We had the motorola and it died after 4 or 5 months. It had a longer range than Motorola too!

We got the babies r us brand monitor for our 3rd, and I love it! The picture quality is amazing and better than the summer infant and the Motorola.

We have the Infant Optics video monitors. They aren't as high end as most of them - the picture doesn't come out crisp and clear color-wise but I didn't buy them for their color accuracy. I bought them so that I could check in on the kids.
The great thing about it is that it can have up to four separate cameras and you just pan through them with the push of a button. There's also an auto-mute function and a voice activated function so you don't run down the battery/have the monitor on all the time.

We have the same one as @Charm54: Love it! It was a replacement for our Motorola that died.

We have a samsung and a Motorola. I like them both but I am disappointed that the samsung doesn't have the temperature reading (could just be my model), it doesn't have a low battery indicator so if you ever forget to plug it in, it dies with no warning, and it also has the most annoying noise when you turn it on. I don't know if those are important features to you but I thought I would share.

We have the same monitor as @NaturallyCathy. We live in a two bedroom apartment so we didn't need anything super fancy. This monitor does it's job...I can peak in on LO and see if he's ok and that's really all I needed.
My only complaint would be that it shuts off the sound after 10 seconds of no noise. It doesn't always catch small noises LO makes. But I guess that might be good in the future when he no longer sleeps in our room at night. I've only use it for naps so far.

@MrsHotDog: I have a slightly newer one I think and it does show low battery and flashes.... I do hate the turn on noise, I just hold the speaker when I turn it on to dull the noise. I like that the noise lights aren't so bright as the Motorola! We like it dark when we sleep!
