I am in the market for a relatively inexpensive (up to $100-$150) but easy-to-install convertible car seat to be used infrequently for visits with the grandparents. We will be using it RF (LO will be 10 months for the first visit) if that influences your recommendations! I've seen this post on the Car Seat Blog (http://carseatblog.com/30022/comparison-of-budget-priced-convertible-carseats-under-100/) but would love personal recommendations.

Graco is a great brand, we've since switched FF and have an older model, but I have a version of the My Ride and it compares exactly to the Britax Marathon.

I have aGraco My Ride 65 and we love it. I've switched it between cars several times and it is so easy.

We just bought a graco seat after I read good reviews, talked to a friend about it, and saw lots of ladies on hellobee talk about it. So far it's really easy to install and LO seems to like it.
