Hello!

My name is Jenna, obviously. Some of you from WB may remember me as Mrs. Dachshund, a blogger who seemingly fell off the face of the planet. I was somewhat active here about a year ago when hellobee started up, but since we weren't actively ttc, I decided to stay away for a while. I had a really bad case of baby fever and hellobee wasn't making it any better! Though I still lurked a bit, I haven't been active on the boards at all for a long time.

But!! Saturday, after not having a normal cycle for months (I hadn't even had periods, which I attributed to losing weight and making my hormones out of whack) I woke up to incredibly tender breasts and decided I'd test, even though there was no way I could be pregnant.

Insta-positive.

Holy cow. We're having a baby. I'm not sure how far along I am, on Monday I had an hCG level of 11,403 and I'm going for an early ultrasound in a few days.

We weren't trying-- actually, I was hoping to lose quite a bit more weight before we conceived, but this is seriously the best surprise ever.

I'm scared and excited and anxious and all of the above, but I'm glad this community is here for support! You'll be seeing a lot more of me around these parts
