I am looking for books on how to train the behavior of a young toddler. So far i've found that most books are too specialized for me. I don't follow the whole attachment parenting style but I am not into spanking either (especially a toddler who can not yet verbalize anything).
I basically want to know a few things from these books:
-at what age is my child knowingly breaking the rules versus just unknowingly making mistakes (eg: throwing food from highchair)
- in what way(s) can I get my child to learn right from wrong (eg: do not tip your milk cup over when done. Just say "done")
-how much does my child comprehend when told "no" (eg: He will get mad and yell in a store and when I say "shh, don't yell" he will not stop. I don't know if this is because he doesn't know what i'm asking for or if he is blatantly disobeying)
Anyone who says terrible 2s start at 2 is wrong:) In our case, it is sprouting at the age of 15m
