@Mrs. High Heels: yummy!!!!
I think the owner keeps harping on the 3 pancakes because it seemed ridiculous to have the pancakes out of reach of the kid who wanted them (the mom kept referring to the child as a baby and saying she was "feeding her"....sorry at nearly 2 my kid wanted to do everything himself and there was no "feeding" him) and she's just trying to make her case that the parents were clueless in all aspects.
I obviously don't know what happened but the accounts are all different and the mom and the power have both changed their story a bunch. In an altercation we all remember what we want so probably the truth is somewhere in the middle.

The mother's side of the story is very similar to the owner's FB rant. They waited a long time for pancakes, their child was making noise, and they had two abrasive interactions with the owner. The owner should have handled the disruptive family in a much better way. The mom recognized that if it wasn't raining she would have taken her child out. Clearly she was able to get over the noise, but that doesn't mean the rest of the patrons should or would.
The mom's piece said she relies on the empathy of strangers and compassion. Come on, eating out with a to whild on vacation is a first world luxury. That part just rubbed me the wrong way.
