Are you going to any of your high school reunions? My 10 year is coming up next summer and DH and I will be going.

I had my 5 year and then 10 year last summer. I didn't go to either because I don't have a big interest in reconnecting with everyone. I sort of know what most people are doing due to facebook and I feel like the reunion would sort just be a "who got an impressive job and who got fat" sort of deal.
I also have a 5 year law school reunion this fall that I"m not going to. I MIGHT have considered going to it except that I'm out of town that weekend anyways, and the whole reunion is centered around the college's football game and I hate football.

@Mae: DH has only been to my hometown 2 times so I want to show him where I grew up since both visits were super short. They're doing the reunion on July 5th, so it works for us to have a few days off from work.

@MaisyMay: that would be fun then! My husband's 10 year reunion was last summer and we did consider going to that one because my husband isn't very active on facebook and didn't actually know what people were up to. But, the timing just didn't work out for us.

My 10 year already passed and I didn't go. The catch-up element is gone for me since I have connected with a lot of high school friends on Facebook.

We will do my 20year which is 8 years away. didn't go to the ten year. I still talk to pretty much everyone I talked to in HS.

Our 10 year reunions already passed. Neither of us attended ours.

My 10th is next year and I have absolutely no desire to go to it. I feel like it's one giant pissing match to see who is doing the "best" in life.

Not HS, but my 10-year college reunion is next spring and I'm already excited. They're super fun.

I went to DH's 10 year high school reunion and enjoyed it. They had a small graduating class, and everyone was genuinely nice to each other. I don't plan on going to mine next year. High school is just part of my past, and I don't want to relive it.

I'm actually kind of excited to go to mine in two years. There are a few people I want to catch up with, people who don't have Facebook! (: if they had Facebook, I wouldn't mind not going.

Dh's grad class only had 9 people so they don't really do reunions but I went to mine. It was so so. Not very well attended. About 25/200 people. 10 I still see regularly since a group of my friend all decided it would maybe be fun if we went together. 10ish I couldn't have given a crap about ever seeing again and maybe another 5 actually was kind of cool to see and talk to again.

I made the mistake and offered to help plan my 10year. We tried, but people didn't feel like coming because of Facebook, so it was a little sad. We didn't even break even and had to change to a smaller room within the venue at the last minute. BUT it was really nice catching up with the old friends in person, I was glad I went.

I want to go to my 10 year in 2015!!!! We just went to DH's last December. He loved catching up with everyone and showing off "his girls". It's really just an excuse to go back to my hometown that I love.

I didn't go to my 10 year. Since we live abroad now, it is unlikely I will go to any of the subsequent ones. At least with Facebook, I can see what people are up to.

there probably won't be any for me! my school shut down in 09, and they're going to be knocking it down in the next year or so. there was a final "before school shuts down" reunion at the end of 09 that I didn't go to. DHs 10 year has past, and he showed no interest in going!
